Co-Curricular Activities
Development of integrated personality of the child takes place when academic and co- curricular activities contribute equally. The school ensures a balanced growth of body and mind. Inter-House and inter-class activities creatively foster multiple talents in our students. Competitions are organized for dramas, quiz, recitation, group discussion, singing, dancing and other activities and the meritorious children are honored.
Art and Craft
Different skills are developed under the guidance of the experienced teacher. They are a part of the school curriculum. Students learn a different types of creativity with full zeal and enthusiasm like- file folder, paper bag, jewelry and many more items.
Dance
Indian classical and modern dance forms are taught for improving the child co- ordination, movement and expression skills.
Workshops
With a view to encourage introspection and to stress upon how an educator needs to be co-learner, a motivator, a facilitator and not a sole harbinger of wisdom and knowledge,a number of workshops are conducted like Vedic-Mathematics, Paper folding and First-Aid to keep the staff and students updated on recent trends in education.
Environment Awareness
It gives them a keen understanding of their environment and their own role and responsibilities. Rallies and Nukad Natak are organized to bring about an awareness to the communities regarding the issues like global warming and pollution.
Excursions
Where learning and fun meet Picnics,outings and study trips to various places are organized for the students of MKCS. This helps in developing a sense of responsibility, cooperation, bonding leadership and independent decision making.
School Functions
In order to acquaint students with Indian culture and its ancient heritage, every festival is celebrated regularly and enthusiastically. Sports Day, Grandparents Day, Mothers Day are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Nie & Pace Programme
Leading national daily newspaper The Hindustan Times has been introduced to encourage students to read newspaper and make them aware of the problems and achievements taking place in the various country. Various workshops are conducted by the HT.
House System
All the students at MKCS are assigned different houses like Diamond, Emerald, Ruby and Topaz. The main idea of the House system is to provide training in qualities of leadership, co-operation, mutual understating, self reliance, peer bonding and team spirit.
